My research focuses primarily on children's social cognitive development. In particular, I am interested in the following lines of research:
Children's evaluation of other people as sources of information
Given that young children learn about many aspects of the world from others, I'm interested in examining how they reason about other people's knowledge, what criteria they use to evaluate the accuracy of others, and if they make use of the most reliable informants when learning new information.

Digital literacy: Can children tell apart fact from fiction online?
The internet provides children with limitless opportunities for learning; however, it also gives them access to unverified and unreliable information. Currently little is known about children’s early critical evaluation skills when it comes to online sources.
Examining children's critical thinking regarding information they encounter online is a key focus of my current research.
